Filmed and edited by Mark Popadic, Changemaker Videography. Sled Song is an imaginary sled ride created by Ramona Silver and enjoyed with her companions through parts of historic Boston, Massachusetts. Filmed prior to Boston's record-breaking winter of 2015, it opens with a scenic march to the top of quaint Peter's Hill in the Roslindale Arboretum, where the sledding fun begins. Signs and landmarks from bustling Jamaica Plain and Mission Hill neighborhoods, as well as Huntington Ave / Route 9, reveal a mixture of sledding and city scenery. Famous landmarks of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and Boston Symphony Hall are shown. The sled ride ends with the graceful skaters on Frog Pond on the Boston Common. Thank you to the Great city of Boston for inspiring this whimsical, wintery story.

Honey, sweetheart, won't you take a ride? I'm in need of your pretty country side Won't you double me on my sled?

We could drag her up to Peter's Hill Set her steady, aim for Somerville If you double me on my sled

And we could go flying down Huntington 9 And land with the skaters on Frog Pond And they would cry oooo! And we would scream weeee! The winter has a meaner face when you live in the city But if you ride my sled with me it really looks quite pretty

Arbor, Jamaica, the Riverway we go Mission Hill would give us time to slow When we hold on tight on my sled

And we could go flying down Huntington 9 And land with the skaters on Frog Pond And they would cry oooo! And we would scream weeee! The winter has a meaner face when you live in the city But if you ride my sled real fast it really looks quite pretty

Baby, heads of MFA would roll We could pick up all the BSO When we glide on by on our sled

And we could go flying down Huntington 9 And land with the skaters on Frog Pond And they would cry oooo! And we would scream weeee!

Won't you double me on my sled, boy? Won't you double me on my sled Won't you double me on my sled, boy? Won't you double me
